RUSSON – Eileen G., 85, of Norway, died Friday, Sept. 9. RODRIGUE – Andrew, 62, formerly of Lewiston, died Monday, Aug. 15. As per his wishes, a traditional funeral will not take place. Friends and family are instead invited to celebrate Andy’s life at a casual gathering from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at 80 Gayton Road, Lewiston. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. and will be followed by a barbecue that will include some of his favorite foods. For further information, please call 954-895-8304. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted and donated in Andy’s name to the Central Florida Tissue and Eye Bank, an organization that connects donors with recipients throughout the United States. After much consideration, this charity was chosen because Andy spent almost his entire life blind in his left eye and, fearing full blindness, was always very protective of his right eye. Because of this, we were able to donate the eye he experienced life through to better someone else’s life.
