WILTON – Announcement is made of the engagement of Sonna Sween Hayduk and Randy Earle Allen, both of New York, formerly of Wilton.
Miss Hayduk is the daughter of Connie W. Jack and Ron York of Powell, Wyo., and Robert and Debbie Sween of Punta Gorda, Fla. She is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont. She also received a master’s degree from Hofstra University. She has been employed as a chemistry teacher and Science Department head at Portledge School in Locust Valley, N.Y. for ten years.
Mr. Allen is the son of Staunton and Edna Allen of Wilton. He is a graduate of Mt. Blue High School and has been employed as a surveyor for the International Union of Operating Engineers in Maine, Massachusetts and New York. He has been surveying for 18 years.
The couple is planning a summer 2006 wedding.
