LEWISTON – The wedding of Lisa Ann Tullo and Chris Michael Burgess was held at noon on July 16 at the Bates College Chapel. Robert Goding officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Burgess is the daughter of Michael and Leona Tullo of Lewiston. Mr. Burgess is the son of Randy and Elaine Tompkins of Bowdoinham.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a sleeveless gown of white lace with V-neckline, beaded bodice, long train and a tiara supporting her long veil.

Renee Giguere, best friend of the couple, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Annie Racicot, friend of the bride, and Tabatha Tullo, cousin of the bride. Shantel Fournier, friend of the bride, was junior bridesmaid and Mariah Burgess, daughter of the couple, was flower girl.

John Hawkins, friend of the couple, performed the duties of best man and ushers were James Heald and Chris Belliveau, friends of the bridegroom. Brandon Tullo, son of the couple, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Fireside Inn in Auburn, after which the couple traveled to Old Orchard. They are residing in Auburn.

The bride is a high school graduate and is employed as a customer service specialist at Wal-Mart.

The bridegroom is a high school graduate and is employed as a meat cutter at Bourque’s.
