LA PORTE, Texas – Guy Arthur Williams, 52, of La Porte, Texas, died Aug. 28, 2005.

He was born in Waltham, Mass., and grew up in Weston, Mass.

He worked as a piping and control systems designer at Bayer Chemical in Baytown, Texas.

He was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Weston and was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Akers) Williams.

He is survived by his father, Jack A. Williams, of Wayland, Mass.; sister, Marilyn Williams and husband, William Sullivan; brothers, Thomas Williams and wife, Dale, Peter Williams and wife, Paula, and Edward Williams; and nephews, Douglas, Christopher, and David Williams.
