LEWISTON – Paulette B. Cronin, 99, of Montello Heights and formerly of 25 Manning Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, Sept. 9, at Central Maine Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born July 27, 1906, in Lewiston, the daughter of Arthur and Emerentienne Millette Brunelle. She was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.
In 1932, she married Eugene J. Cronin, who died in 1971.
She served as treasurer of Federal Distributors Inc. from 1971 to 2000.
She was a former president of the Patronesses of St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, and a member of the Woman’s Hospital Association of Central Maine Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Lewiston, and a former member of the Lewiston-Auburn Art Literature Club.
She enjoyed traveling, music, arts, theater, sewing, knitting and playing cards, but most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son, Paul B. Cronin, of St. Simons Island, Ga., and a stepson, Joseph S. Cronin, of Lewiston; a granddaughter, Patricia C. Spellman of Auburn; and three grandsons, John E. Cronin of Auburn, Eugene J. Cronin III of Swartz Creek, Mich., and Stephan B. Cronin of Melbourne, Fla.; and seven great-grandchildren.
