NAPLES – Attorney General Steven Rowe and two representatives of the Youth Empowerment and Policy Group will visit Lake Region High School on Wednesday, Sept. 14, to urge students to be informed, take action and stay involved in alcohol and substance abuse issues.

Alex du Houx, a student at Bowdoin College, and Lee Philbrook of the University of Maine are longtime members of the youth group and have participated in developing the reports on the enforcement of underage drinking laws and the survey research report on the impact of alcohol advertising on underage drinking.

Rowe will be the featured speaker at a 5:30 p.m. presentation in the school auditorium open to the public.

This event is sponsored by Lake Region Healthy Communities Coalition, OneME, Lake Region High School and the Bridgton Police Department
