DIXFIELD – The descendants of James C. and Mary Ellen Crawford Lloyd gathered for the annual family reunion at the Mountain View Campground on Aug. 13. A Hawaiian luau was the theme.

A potluck luncheon was served, craft items, donated by family members, were raffled and Lloyd reunion T-shirts were sold for the treasury. The winner of the 50/50 raffle was Robert O’Neil of Salem, Mass.

There were 56 in attendance, traveling from various areas around the state and from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut. Traveling the furthest were Patty and Bernie Chiassion of Old Saybrook, Conn.

The oldest member present was William Morse Sr., 81, of Mexico, and the youngest members were Esperamza Faith Kenney, 5 weeks, daughter of Teresa and Jeff Kenney of Lisbon Falls, and Jordan Elizabeth Hanson, 6 months, daughter of Troy Hanson and Wendy Vachon of Hollis. The most recent loss was James E. Hanson.

Members were reminded to submit recipes for the family cookbook. Susan Pike will continue to be the secretary of the event and Donna Hanson and Cindy Archibald will remain treasurers.

The next reunion will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2006, at the Mountain View Campground and subsequent reunions will now be the first Saturday of August.
