TURNER – The Turner Center for the Arts committee has scheduled two more exhibits to follow its Oct. 2 grand opening event, the Autumn Open Juried Exhibit.

From Dec. 4 through Dec. 31, the center will show the works of member artists and, opening Jan. 22, a juried exhibit of photography will be shown for approximately five weeks.

The recently formed steering committee is seeking artists for the opening exhibit in the newly renovated Leavitt Institute Building on Turner Center Road, which is Route 117.

Galleries are on the first and second floors of the building. The Turner Public Library and the Turner Museum and Historical Association occupy the third and fourth floors of the historic site. Both the museum and the library will be open during the first day of the art exhibit on Oct. 2, from 2 to 5 p.m.
