In announcing his candidacy, Peter Cianchette says he’ll cut income taxes, force towns to cut property taxes and ax our Dirigo Health Plan, which serves over 8,000 Maine citizens.
He wants to be governor, so he starts right out with the old shrink the government, don’t have it serve the people routine.
Well, we’ve seen in New Orleans what happens when government services are put on short rations. The people drowned.
Knowing where our national leadership has taken us, wouldn’t we have to be mighty foolish to go for the same poison pill here in Maine?
