LEWISTON – Steve Drane, an ordained minister, environmental activist, master gardener and herbalist, will discuss how the various paths in his life have intersected at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Skelton Lounge of Bates College’s Chase Hall, 56 Campus Ave.

The public is invited to this free talk on “Coming to our Senses: A Spirituality of the Earth,” the first in the series called “Spiritual Journeys: Stories of the Soul 2005-06,” sponsored by the Office of the Chaplain. People can call 786-8272 for more information.

Ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Drane studies and works in a Christian context. He immerses himself in world faith teachings regarding humans’ relationship with the Earth, plants and animals.
