KITTERY – Kayla Mckay scored two goals in the first half to power St. Doms to a 3-0 victory over Traip in a varsity field hockey contest.
Elisha Dorso assisted on both of Mckay’s goals and scored one of her own in the second half for the Saints (5-0). The Saints played great defense holding Traip to one shot.
Goalkeeper Leeann Mcdonald made 16 saves for Traip.
Leavitt 7, Oak Hill 1
TURNER – Jessica Paladino netted a hat trick and added an assist as Leavitt’s offense exploded for a five-goal second half, clinching a 7-1 win over Oak Hill.
Tiffany Poland added a pair of goals and a helper for the Hornets (5-1).
Kaela Jalbert and Alexandra Naylor each had two assists to pace the attack.
Hannah Bradstreet scored the lone goal for the Raiders (0-6) at the end of the first half to make it 2-1.
Jessica Vickerson and Kristin Schrepper split the goaltending duties in the Leavitt cage, each finishing with a save. Tabby Tucci stopped 14 shots for Oak Hill.
Mt. Blue 3, Lawrence 1
LAWRENCE – Michelle Oswald broke a 1-1 tie with a goal in the 27th minute of the first half and added an insurance goal in the second as Mt. Blue downed Lawrence, 3-1.
Oswald converted on a pass from Jennifer Wallace for the deciding score. Alyssa St. Pierre opened the scoring with a goal 2:09 into the game for the Cougars (4-2).
Heather Gilman tied the game with a goal for the Bulldogs.
Ashley Lewia and Amanda Deschanes preserved the win in the Mt. Blue net, combining for seven saves. Kasey McPhail stopped 12 shots for Lawrence (3-3).
Brunswick 4, Lewiston 0
LEWISTON – Liz Eichinger scored a goal and assisted on another to pace Brunswick to a 4-0 shutout victory over Lewiston. F
aith Robinson, Katie Berisacher, and Nina McLaughlin also scored for the Dragons (3-3), and Brittany Lemiuex chipped in with two assists.
Sarah Wyman made eight saves for the clean slate in the Brunswick net.
Katie Grant and Stephanie Duchette split the goaltending duties for the winless Blue Devils (0-6).
Wells 1, Poland 0
WELLS – Caelie Vanasse scored the only goal of the game off a pass from Bri Alley to give Wells a 1-0 victory over Poland in a varsity field hockey matchup Monday.
Goaltender Taylor Godall needed only 2 saves to pick up the shutout for Wells (1-5). Dezaray DeBurra made 15 saves for the Knights (1-6).
Soccer
Monmouth 1, Lisbon 0
MONMOUTH – Jenn Lola found the back of the net just inside the post to lead Monmouth to a 1-0 victory over Lisbon in a varsity girls’ soccer matchup on Monday.
Cortney Barrett had a great game in net for Monmouth (3-1-2) making 15 saves for her third shutout of the season. Goaltender Samantha Purcell stopped eight shots for Lisbon (3-2-1).
Maranacook 7, Medomak Valley 0
WALDOBORO – Ali Trafton scored two goals and had two assists to lead Maranacook to a 7-0 victory over Medomak Valley. Amy Gifford also found the back of the net twice for the Black Bears (5-1), while Jackie Mrazik and Allison Meyer each had a goal and an assist. Alison Cornforth made 31 saves in net for Medomak Valley (3-3).
The Black Bears out shot the Panthers 52-9.
