GARDINER – The Maine Technology Institute will present “Business Opportunities in the Government Market,” a morning workshop so entrepreneurs and business owners can learn how to effectively do business with federal, state and local governments.
The workshop will cover identifying sales opportunities in the government sector, building marketing strategies to approach prime government contractors, and identifying and securing sources of federal funding for innovative research and development.
It’s being offered in partnership with the Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
The workshop is offered on two dates: Tuesday, Sept. 27, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Maine Procurement Technical Assistance Center, One Cumberland Place, Bangor; and Thursday, Sept. 29, 9 a.m. to noon, at Glickman Library, University of Southern Maine, Portland.
