LEWISTON – Cecile D. Narvick, 83, of 6 Dion St., died at her home on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Born in Van Buren on April 3, 1922, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Sirois) Dube, she was educated in the Van Buren school system, coming to Lewiston in 1938.

She was employed in the textile industry, having worked at the Bates Mill (Hill division) and at the Continental Mill until her retirement.

She enjoyed her home, sewing and making jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

She was the widow of Charles Narvick Jr., whom she married Nov. 15, 1944; he died March 23, 1998.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda M. Narvick of Lewiston; three sisters, Marie Larochelle of Lewiston, Bernadette Glover of Rochester, N.Y., and Patricia Madore of Van Buren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; her stepmother, Winifred Dube; two sisters, Carlene Dane and Theresa Levesque; one brother, Cecil Dube; and one stepsister, Lillian Laplante.
