LAKE WORTH, Fla. – Miriam L. Ross, 99, of Lake Worth, Fla., formerly of Auburn and Corner Brook, Newfoundland, died Monday, Sept. 19, in Lake Worth, Fla.

She was born in Framingham, Mass., on July 23, 1906, the daughter of Simon and Jesse Goodwin Lavin.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a special education teacher and was the wife of the late Maurice B. Ross.

She is survived by three sons, Alan B. Ross, Tom Ross and his wife, Judy, and Stephen Ross and his wife, Marcia; six grandchildren, Randy, David, Barry, Mitchell, Joanna and Adam; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Joseph Ramsey; and a sister, Anne Greene.
