VASSALBORO – Sparks may fly and chords will ring battle of the sexes, barbershop style at 6 p.m. today at the Vassalboro Grange, Route 32 north.

The women of Maine-ly Harmony chorus will meet the men of the Kennebec Valley Chordsmen.

The fun will begin with a dessert buffet, followed at 7 p.m. with the sounds of old-fashioned barbershop tunes. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door.
