MILLINOCKET – The wedding of Ashley Elizabeth Kidney and Jeffrey Normand Parent was held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 29 at the First Congregational Church in Millinocket. The Rev. Lyn Bradley officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Parent is the daughter of Dawn-Marie Blanchette and Clint Rudge of Millinocket. Mr. Parent is the son of James and Kathy-Jo Parent of Lisbon.
The bride, given in marriage by her grandfather, Wayne Kidney, wore a white princess gown and a tiara supported her veil.
Krystal Kerwock was maid of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Isa Kavanan, cousin, and Jannessa Wily, sister. Rebecca Johndra, friend, was flower girl.
Ryan Anthony was best man for his friend and ushers were Sam Sprinkle, friend, and Toby Kidney, cousin. Caleb Anthony, friend, was ring bearer.
A reception followed in the reception hall at the church, after which the couple traveled to Bar Harbor. They are residing in Millinocket.
