BARTLETT, Ill. – The wedding of Kathryn Louise Macukas and Adrien Ernest Chabot was held at 11 a.m. on June 11 at the Village Church of Bartlett in Bartlett, Ill. Pastor Don Yates officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Chabot is the daughter of Carol and Derek Buckley of Bartlett, Ill., and John and Mary Macukas of Chesapeake, Va. Mr. Chabot is the son of Roger and Martha Chabot of Auburn.
The bride, given in marriage by her father and stepfather, wore a cream colored gown with Sabrina neckline, beading around the neckline and arm holes and also around the waistline and bottom of gown. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Carol Chaplin, friend of the bride, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Cristen Janisch, Lindsay Sturm, Gloria Fahim and Lynn Hohenstein, friends of the bride.
A friend of the bridegroom, Ben Wickstra, served as best man and ushers were Aaron Diehl, Michael Kaspar and Will Arthur, friends of the bridegroom, and Aaron Chabot, brother of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at Villa Olivia Country Club in Bartlett, Ill., after which the couple traveled to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. They are residing in Schererville, Ind. A reception will be held for the couple on Oct. 1 at Marston Corner Baptist Church.
The bride is a graduate of Taylor University with a degree in elementary education.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Taylor University and a master’s degree in biotechnology from Ball State University. He is employed as research lab technician/manager at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Ill.
