HEBRON – A Minot woman was treated and released at a local hospital after the all-terrain vehicle she was driving crashed and rolled onto her.

Lynn Ledwell, 35, of Minot was following her husband, Todd, on an ATV when he slowed to turn and her machine collided with the back of his ATV. The collision caused her ATV to overturn, rolling on top of her.

She was taken to Central Maine Medical Center for suspected internal injuries.

The accident occurred along the Hebron Station Road around 6 p.m. Saturday. According to Deputy Michael Halacy of the Oxford County Sheriff’s Department, the couple got turned around after coming out of a trail and were traveling up Hebron Station Road looking for another trail head. Todd Ledwell slowed to turn onto the trail when his wife’s ATV hit him, traveling about 30 miles per hour.

Lynn Ledwell was not wearing a helmet, Halacy said.
