NORWAY – Three men were arrested by Bethel Police Department officers and charged with marijuana trafficking on Saturday, police officials said Monday.
Arrested were Ryan A. Savage, 19, of 34 Call Road, Milford; Alex A. Helms, 18, of Bryant Pond; and Timothy J. Savage, 18, of 34 Call Road, Milford.
The arresting officers were Sgt. S.R. White and Patrolman Travis Fillmore.
All three men were charged with aggravated trafficking in a Schedule Z drug. Bail was set at $100 for each man.
Bethel Police Chief Alan Carr said the three men were together in a vehicle and pulled over on suspicion of speeding before they were arrested.
Police seized four user-quantity bags of marijuana from the men.
