LEWISTON – Joanne Etta Needham, 67, of Lisbon Falls, passed away on Sept. 23, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

She was born in Portland on April 18, 1938, the daughter of Burton and Barbara (Dandeneau) Langill. She was educated in Portland schools.

She enjoyed reading, bowling, gambling and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Edmund Needham, of Lisbon Falls; sons, David Needham and his wife, Shannon, of Waterboro, James Needham and wife, Diane, of New Gloucester, and Matthew Needham of California; sisters, Norma Douglas of Florida, Beverly Crooks of Ohio and Marcia Rawson of Auburn; brothers, James Langill of Westbrook and David Langill of Poland; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
