LEWISTON – Beverly A. Sirois, 68, of 18 Our Road, Sabattus, died Sunday morning, Sept. 25, at Central Maine Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Auburn on April 18, 1937, the daughter of Alfred and Lillian (Clough) Day.
She married Sylvio Sirois on June 11, 1994.
She worked for many years at Eastern Maine Medical Center as supervisor in the housekeeping department. She also worked at Pioneer Plastics for 20 years. She was last employed at Karlin Services at Northeast Surfaces.
She was an accomplished and published poet. She was also a member of the International Society of Poets. She enjoyed flea markets, crocheting, writing poems, making people laugh and playing cards. She will be remembered as a honest, hard-working, self-reliant individual. She will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband, Sylvio Sirois, of Sabattus; daughter, Pamela Arince of Lewiston; grandson, David Small of Bangor; great-granddaughters, Brittany Emerson and Amanda Small, both of Bangor; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; nine brothers and sisters; and great-grandson, Dillion Hunter Small.
Her family would like to thank all the staff who worked with Beverly over the years at Central Maine Medical Center.
