At the Common Ground Fair in Unity on Sept. 24, several of us held “Witness to Truth” posters. Some posters showed how an aborted fetus looks, and some posters were about facts and consequences of abortion.

A common objection to these graphic posters was parents claiming it upset their children. I have never witnessed an upset child.

While some parents are unaware, children often receive offensive information in classrooms and see very graphic offensive pictures on television.

From a personal evaluation, while what appears to be average families out to have fun for the day, some parents will use inappropriate remarks and gestures with their children present. These children witness outrageous behavior by their parents who claim to want to protect them. Yet, many refuse to be shocked at the 3,500 children denied life daily in this country.

Medical science has recently reported that each aborted fetus experiences excruciating pain as it is either torn apart, burned or jabbed in the skull. These medical procedures will not be viewed in the media because of the abortion industry’s heavy influence. An aborted fetus is a horrible sight.

We hold these signs because history shows that any major social change comes by showing pictures, as with the Holocaust.

I greatly encourage people to get informed about abortion and its serious consequences and to be ready to answer a child’s questions about the war against the unborn.
