LEWISTON – The UPS Store, 25 East Ave., in conjunction with the UPS Stores across the country, is teaming up with the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation to offer customers the opportunity to purchase a $1 Toys for Tots pledge card, with all proceeds going to support local Toys for Tots activities.

The campaign also includes sales of a limited number of 1:43 scale limited edition die cast replica of the 88 UPS/Toys for Tots race car driven by Dale Jarrett, with a portion of the proceeds donated to Toys for Tots. The pledge cards and car sales will start in November.

In addition, all monies donated via The UPS Store’s “We Deliver Dreams” coin box will be given to Toys for Tots to support children in the areas impacted by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

“With so many members of the Marine Corps Reserve currently serving overseas, The UPS Store is stepping in to help with fund-raising and collection efforts traditionally staffed by Marine Corps Reserve volunteers,” said Mark Bilodeau, owner of the store, located next to Shaw’s Supermarket.
