BOSTON (AP) – The Boston Celtics on Tuesday waived forward Qyntel Woods, whom they acquired in the five-team trade in August that sent Antoine Walker to the Miami Heat.

Woods had spent most of his career with the Portland Trailblazers, who picked him in the first round of the 2002 draft. Portland placed him on waivers, and the Heat signed him as a free agent in January.

In 118 career games, he has averaged 3.1 points in 8.9 minutes per game.
