AUBURN – Autumn Bell tallied a hat-trick to lead St. Dom’s to a dominating 7-0 victory over Old Orchard Beach in a WMC girls’ soccer match-up Tuesday.

Heidi DeHaan chipped in with two goals, while Abby Finger and Maria Barone rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece. Katie Bermudez was credited with three assists.

The net was split by Shandra McManus and Sara Theriault, who together needed to make one save for the Saints (7-3-1).

Lisbon 1, Winthrop 1

WINTHROP – Lisbon and Winthrop drew to a 1-1 tie in double overtime in girls’ soccer Tuesday afternoon.

Lisbon (6-3-2) got on the board first when Soleil Mathieu scored early in the second half on a breakaway set up by Ashley Mason. The Greyhounds held the advantage by one in both shots, 9-8, and corner kicks, 4-3.

Winthrop (5-3-2) tied the game with 11 minutes left after Laura Ravis tipped the ball in. Melissa Nguyen passed the ball to Ravis who was waiting uncontested by the net.

Belfast 3, Oak Hill 0

WALES – Samantha Mathieu netted a hat-trick to lead Belfast to a 3-0 win over Oak Hill in a girls’ KVAC soccer matchup.

Mathieu netted two of her unassisted goals in the first half and solidified the win for the Lions with her third goal in the second half.

Katherine Kelly stopped four shots for the shutout. Courtney Seguin made six saves for the Raiders.

Mt. Blue 2, Lawrence 1

FAIRFIELD – Xena Colby netted a pair of unassisted goals to lift Mt. Blue to a 2-1 win over Lawrence in girls’ soccer action Tuesday evening.

Colby tallied her first goal with 20 minutes remaining in the first half of the contest. Lawrence (4-7) tied the game 1-1 with 27:30 left in the second half on a goal by Danielle Slaney. Colby answered back 18 seconds later with the game-winning goal for the Cougars (5-4-2).

Caitlyn Scott was solid in net, registered 13 saves for Mt. Blue, while Katy Mayo turned aside 11 shots for the Bulldogs.

Field hockey
Edward Little 1, Oxford Hills 0

AUBURN – Allison Forgues tallied the game-winning goal with 17:09 left in the first half to lift Edward Little to a 1-0 triumph over Oxford Hills on Tuesday in a KVAC field hockey contest.

Breanna Wing slid a pass to Forgues inside the circle, who then converted it into the game’s only goal. Mary Martin was solid throughout the contest, making seven saves for EL (5-7).

The Vikings (5-6) were paced by goaltender Aleksys Pike, who made four saves.

Mt. Blue 1, Lawrence 0

FARMINGTON – Kim Cushman picked up a pass from Michelle Oswald and popped in the winning goal during the first half to give Mt. Blue a 1-0 victory over Lawrence.

Heidi Judkins swept a pass to Oswald, who handed it off to sophomore Cushman for her first varsity goal.

Ashley Lewia stood strong in the net, making six saves for the Cougars (8-4), while Kristy Mcphail stopped 10 shots for the Bulldogs (3-8).

Oak Hill 2, MCI 1

WALES – Mae Nadeau tallied a pair of goals to send Oak Hill to a 2-1 victory over MCI.

Nadeau’s first goal came off a pass from Kayla Clark in the first half. MCI later tied the game on a goal by Karen Ingraham off a penalty corner. The Raiders’ came back in the second half when Nadeau flicked the ball in after she gained control of the rebound from the MCI goalie’s pads.

Brittany Clark and Chelsea Dow led the Oak Hill defense.
