Lewiston – The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce and The Maine Association of Professional Consultants are sponsoring two half-day marketing seminars.
Jeff Tracy will present “Better Business By Design” in the morning while Alison Lee Freeman will present “Be Brief, Be Memorable” in the afternoon from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Lakeside Training Center at the Central Maine Community College in Auburn.
During Tracy’s seminar, attendees will look at their business from the many points of view used by prospective customers. Tracy describes how to move from a more traditional product, sales and advertising view to total-concept marketing.
In the afternoon session, Freeman will explain how to present the business of “you” in print and in-person. She will help attendees understand why a memorable first impression is important – in print from press releases to Web-site content – and in-person from greeting a customer to presenting a proposal.
