LEWISTON – The Maine International Trade Center is sponsoring a seminar on the Essentials of Exporting from 1 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Colisee in Lewiston

This seminar is an opportunity for companies that are just beginning to export or for new staff at companies that currently export. Topics to be covered include Incoterms, common international terms of payment, export documentation, logistics options and available export finance programs. This top-to-bottom review includes all the key components of arranging export shipments including the importance of proper export documentation, how to ensure you get paid, and how to avoid the pitfalls of exporting.

The cost of this seminar is $30 for MITC members and $60 for non-members. Maine legislators may attend free of charge.
