LEWISTON – The Maine Table Tennis League is preparing for its fall open tournament this Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Multi-Purpose Center. The event is sponsored by Table Tennis Pioneers of Canada and the Maine Table Tennis League and is sanctioned by USA Table Tennis.

Matches are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

The tournament runs all day in the gymnasium, and admission is free to the public. Players from throughout New England are expected to participate.

Due to Columbus Day on Oct. 10, next week’s league matches are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 13. League play will resume on Mondays thereafter.
