I’m writing in reference to the press conference that Paul Madore held against the Rev. Mike Seavey. Madore should be ashamed. I don’t agree with Seavey’s views or the stand that my church has taken, but I know that Seavey does everything out of compassion.

Madore needs to ask himself, Am I doing this for God’s glory or to be in the news? Attacking a priest when he isn’t even there to defend himself seems unjust at the very least, and using stealth and underhandedness seems very worldly and not Christlike at all. Why didn’t Madore use prayer instead? If Madore is going to talk the talk, then he should walk the walk.

I am not going to vote the way Seavey will. I will trust in God and pray, and I will I do everything in charity by praying for all those who do their will, starting with Madore and his group.
