PORTLAND – Scott B. Twitchell has been promoted to vice president in the Commercial Lines Division at TD Banknorth Insurance Group in South Portland.

He will continue to manage property and casualty insurance programs for large commercial accounts throughout Northern New England.

A Cumberland resident, Twitchell joined TD Banknorth Insurance in 2002.

He is a 1988 graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick. The Auburn native is a 1984 graduate of Edward Little High School.
