POLAND – Jim Moreau paced the Saints with a pair of assists as four different players scored in a 4-0 win over Poland.

Nate Brown, Cameron McKee, Andrew Allen and Ben Randall each tallied a goal.

Steve Gagnon had five saves for the shutout for St. Dom’s. Matt Hernandez had 14 saves in the goal for the Knights.

Telstar 2, Dirigo 1

DIXFIELD – Matt Zinchuck and Dan Kiesel scored goals a little more than a minute apart in the second half to lead Telstar to a 2-1 victory over Dirigo.

Brent Carter gave the Cougars a lead, scoring on an assist from Gary Holman with 1.2 seconds remaining in the first half. Danny Hall stopped 16 shots to keep Dirigo in the game. Steven Scotti finished with four saves for Telstar.

Leavitt 3, Oxford Hills 1

TURNER – Nick Bourgoin netted the game-winner and added an assist as Leavitt stopped Oxford Hills, 3-1.

Bourgoin pounced on a cross pass from Wil Sideman off an indirect kick and punched the ball past David LaRoach 2:28 into the second half to break a 1-1 tie. Matt Paladino gave the Hornets some breathing room with an insurance goal, carrying the ball in from half field and beating three defenders before putting the ball in the corner of the net. Paladino also assisted on Chris Rybeck’s goal in the first half.

Ryan Yates opened the scoring with an unassisted goal for the Vikings (0-11-1).

Kevin Mulherrin had four saves for the Hornets (4-8), winners of four straight. LaRoach finished with 13 saves for Oxford Hills.

Mt. Blue 0, Bangor 0

BANGOR – Neither team could put the ball in the twines Friday as Mt. Blue and Bangor battled to a 0-0 tie in a game that featured a playoff-like atmosphere.

Justin Davis stopped all 10 shots that he faced for the Cougars (7-4-1). His counterpart Austin Smith finished the game with seven saves.

Lisbon 1, Wiscasset 0

LISBON – Evan Manocal scored 18 minutes into the contest to lift Lisbon to a 1-0 triumph over Wiscasset in MVC boys’ soccer action Friday.

Nate Osmond dribbled the ball down the right wing for the Greyhounds (8-4-2), before crossing it to Manocal. He collected the ball and made one fake before burying it into the back of the net.

Goalie Nick Hinkley had six saves for the Redskins, while Mike Wilkins turned back nine shots for Lisbon in the win.
