AUBURN – Stephen and Sandra Peterson of Richmond, Va., were honored at a 25th wedding anniversary open house on July 31 at the home of Mr. Peterson’s mother, Beverly Peterson in Auburn.

Co-hosts were Ruth and Ted Lane and Cindi LeHaie, parents and cousin of Mrs. Peterson, respectively. Tributes to the couple were read, one by their daughter, Leah, and another by Mr. Peterson’s sister, Gay Metevier.

They have two children, a son, Bradford Lane, who is attending Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg, Va., and a daughter, Leah Kathryn, who is in the seventh grade in Richmond, Va.

Members of the wedding party attending were Cindi LeHaie, Gay Metevier, Barry London, Gary Lane, Randy Hirst and Tim Lyford. Time was spent socializing and renewing old friendships.

Mr. Peterson and the former Sandra Lane were married on June 21, 1980. They are 1977 graduates of Edward Little High School. Mrs. Peterson is a graduate of Husson College and is executive director of the Psychiatric Society of Virginia. Mr. Peterson is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono and is IT manager for Capitol One in Richmond, Va.

Guests attended from Sarasota, Fla., Richmond, Va., Freeport, Worcester, Mass., Burnt Hills, N.Y., Brooklyn, N.Y., Old Orchard Beach, Presque Isle, Kingfield, North Yarmouth, Portland, Scarborough, Sanbornville, N.H., and Lewiston-Auburn.
