I very much disagree with the fine the government gave to the restaurant in Shanghai, China (Sept. 9).

They only fined Ma Shikun $296 and took the restaurants profits. That is pretty low because the food the restaurant sold cost like $100 for serving donkey flesh with tiger fluids. Also, I see signs that say do not walk on railroad tracks or you will be fined $500. That is about $200 more than the fine the restaurant gave, and for walking on old railroad tracks.

I personally think that the other cooks and waiters should get fined as well. My reasoning is that the Chinese government didn’t say that the cooks and other people tried to stop this thing from happening. I think they should raise the fine to around maybe $1,000? I thought that Ma Shikun was advertising tiger meat. Then he said that the meat was actually donkey flesh with tiger fluids. Then after that, he said that the meat came from dead tiger meat. So, he lied to the government and had a lot of changing to his story. For that, I thought he should be fined a little bit more than $296.

In conclusion, I don’t know if they are allowing the restaurant to reopen, but I think that the place should be closed down for good and that people can get along with their lives.
