AUBURN – Todd H. Gagne, a design engineer with Nason Mechanical Systems, has received his professional engineer’s license in Maine.

Gagne, who joined Nason Mechanical in 2000, is part of a four-person engineering team at the mechanical contracting firm, specializing in the design of heating/ventilation/air conditioning, plumbing and industrial piping and project management.

A graduate of Edward Little High School and the Maine Maritime Academy, Gagne also holds a U.S. Coast Guard second engineer’s license, a Maine Third Engineer Stationary license and an EPA Universal Refrigeration Certificate.

Before joining Nason, Gagne was employed as a design engineer at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and has worked as an engineer on a seagoing dredge in Louisiana.

An Auburn native, Gagne now lives in Portland with his wife, Sarah, and daughter Ellie. He is active in local nonprofit work, including Rebuilding Together, a program that renovates housing for low-income families.

Nason Mechanical Systems, founded in 1933, is a 36-person full-service mechanical contractor headquartered on Merrow Road.
