NORWAY – Raymond Carl Bonney, 42, of Bryant Pond, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 8, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Norway on July 3, 1963, the son of Carl Raymond and Alliene (Morgan) Bonney and was educated in local schools.

He worked as a logger for many years and was an avid fisherman, and loved music.

He is survived by his parents of Bryant Pond; two sons, Joseph Marshall of West Bethel and Joshua Bonney of Bryant Pond; one daughter, Starr Bonney of Newry; one brother, Larry Bonney and his wife, Elsie, of Bethel; two sisters, Julie Cummings and her husband, Michael, and Kathy Scherf and her husband, Robert, all of Bryant Pond; one granddaughter, Dawn Buck of Newry; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Margaret Roberts, of Bryant Pond.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Christopher and Russell.
