MONMOUTH – Selectmen will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Monmouth Academy cafeteria on a special town meeting to vote again on the planning budget.

The vote will take place from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Cumston Hall library.

Absentee ballots are available at the Town Office.

The warrant will ask voters to appropriate $5,245 from an undesignated fund balance for the town’s planning budget.

Expenditures would include stipends for Planning Board members, part-time wages for a secretary, legal services, mapping and training, among other things.
