On Sept. 15 and l6, Holy Cross School held a bake sale to aid Hurricane Katrina victims. Elise Applegate, Megan Beliveau, Kaitlyn Bosse, and Kaitlyn Boulet put together the fundraiser, which raised over $1,000. They sold baked goods during recess to all grades. The students of the 6th, 7th and 8th grades brought in a variety of baked goods. Also they had trinkets that were brought in by Emmanuel Boucher and sold for 25 cents.
The money will be sent to the Sisters of the Presentation at the Casa House in Texas. They are currently taking care of the homeless children who were affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Much time and effort was put into this fundraiser. We would like to thank students, parents, teachers, and all who contributed to thees events.
