RUMFORD – Eoline F. Bean, 71, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Rumford Hospital. She was a resident of Rumford Road.
Born in South Rumford on May 16, 1934, she was a daughter of John and Arlene (Holland) Rowley. She graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford in the Class of 1953.
She was active in several area bowling leagues, including the Wednesday night and Tuesday morning leagues. She was also active in the Dixfield American Legion cribbage tournaments.
She was married in Rumford on Aug. 1, 1953, to the late Roland D. Bean; he died in Lewiston on July 14, 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Cyr and her husband, Ernest, of Spokane, Wash.; three sons, Michael and his wife, Heidi, of Milton Plantation, Matthew and his wife, Debbie, of Andover, and Christopher and his wife, Laureen, of Milton Plantation; two sisters, Lee Perry and her husband, Thomas, and Jackelyn Schafer and her husband, Thomas, both of Tennessee; one brother, Harold Rowley and his wife, Nancy, of Peru; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Rowley.
