How can I stop mailings from appearing in my driveway, on my front porch or in between my doors? We just spent $100 to have a mail slot put in our front door so that if we went away, no mail would be hanging around. We tried stopping mail through the post office, but that didn’t work because the substitute mailmen are so overwhelmed with work that they don’t remember to hold the mail.
I don’t want mail deposited on our property. Is there a remedy to this? Don’t tell me to ask a neighbor, because they either work or are elderly and don’t need the burden of crossing the street or climbing stairs.
My belief is that it should be unlawful to deposit mail on someone’s property.
