HOLLIS, N.H. (AP) – Nevermind the knicknacks. How about buying the entire flea market?
It could be a bargain hunter’s dream. The Hollis couple who has run Brad and Donna’s Silver Lake Flea Market for decades has decided it’s time to make the ultimate sale – the flea market itself.
“We want to sell, and we don’t want to sell, I guess. This is a very interesting business, it’s been a lot of work, but a lot of fun too,” said Brad Tukey, who owns the flea market with his wife, Donna.
“We decided to do it now because we’re healthy, active. We don’t want to wait until the point where we have to sell,” he said.
Up for sale is the couple’s 13-acre property along Route 122, complete with their home, a rental property and various buildings that house the flea market’s snack bar and several vendors.
It can all be yours for just $959,900.
“I’m basically selling the value of the land and buildings. The business comes with it,” Brad Tukey said. “There has been some interest. Some people have come by to talk and sort of kick the tires a little.”
