Spaulding elected
WINSLOW – Lee Spaulding of Winslow has been elected president of the New England Golf Association for the 2006 season. A director and past president of the Maine State Golf Association, Inc., Spaulding serves as the general manager of Waterville Country Club that will be hosting the Maine Amateur Championship for the ninth time in 2007.
The New England Amateur Championship, the tournament’s 76th event will be coming to Maine this summer, at the Woodlands Club in Falmouth. Alan Bouchard, who is also an MSGA director and member at the Woodlands, will help coordinate the event, and will become the next president of the NEGA from Maine in 2012.

WILTON – Due to inclement weather during the weekend, the “Maintenance Scramble” has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 23 at 9 a.m. Members must register again by noon Friday.
Weather permitting, the “Yellow Tee Tournament” will take place Sunday, Oct. 30 at 9:30 a.m. Members may register in the Pro Shop by noon Friday, Oct. 28, or by calling the clubhouse.
