BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) – Police on Monday were looking for a suspect who allegedly forced his way into a woman’s vehicle in Massachusetts and forced her at gunpoint to drive north on Interstate 91.
Leesa M. Thomas, 24, of North Hampton, Mass., told police she intentionally crashed her truck into rock ledges in Brattleboro to escape her assailant.
After the crash, the man ran away toward Canal St.
The suspect is described as a white man, in his mid-30s. He’s 5-feet, 8-inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police barracks in Brattleboro at 254-2382.
