LEWISTON – Ellen May Roy, 61, of Mechanic Falls, died Saturday, Oct. 15, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Bath on Dec. 21, 1943, the daughter of Herbert W. and Marion Ryea Tarr. She graduated from Buckfield High School.

She married Paul D. Roy in October 1992. She owned and operated J.J.’s Restaurant in Mechanic Falls for several years, before retiring in 1994 and moving to Florida. She was a member of the American Legion Post 150 Auxiliary in Mechanic Falls.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, of Mechanic Falls; her mother, Marion Tarr of Hebron; her sons, Dana and Suzan Harris of Monmouth, Dale Harris of Hebron, Randy Lessard and his wife, Missy, of Waterford, Paul Lessard of Litchfield and David Dorey of Alaska; seven grandchildren; and four sisters, Betty Goffin and her husband, John, of Massachusetts, Lorrain Durgin of Hebron, Louise Feltis of Somerville, and Pat Weston and her husband, Bill, of Lewiston.
