VASSALBORO – Brady Chapman fired a 4-under-par 68 win his second consecutive individual crown and lead Telstar to its second consecutive Class C golf team championships held Wednesday at Natanis Golf Course.

Keegan Fennessy of Poland shot a 70 to win the individual championship in Class B.

The event was postponed the past two Saturdays due to rain.

Telstar finished with a score of 311 to edge Houlton by three strokes for the Class C crown. Houlton finished second despite landing three golfers in the top seven.

Telstar teammate Sean Caddigan backed up Chapman with a 75 to finish sixth. Chapman’s round of 68 was four shots better than runner-up Matt Lowell of Buckfield.

Two shots separated the top three Class B teams. Cape Elizabeth won with a 307, followed by Poland (308) and Presque Isle (309).

Chris Coffin of Presque Isle and Adam Packard of Falmouth shot 1-over 73s to finish three shots behind Fennessy.

Cheverus nipped Waterville to claim the Class A championship, while Lewiston and Kennebunk tied for third, six strokes behind the winner. Jame Morin led the Blue Devils with a 79 to finish in a four-way tie for ninth.

Anthony Ardito of Cheverus carded a 72 to edge Waterville’s Joe Flowers by one shot for first place.
