BRUNSWICK – The Nor’easters Barbershop Chorus will give a benefit show for the Tedford Shelter, a nonprofit that provides housing for homeless adults and families.

In addition to the Nor’easters, Back Bay Forum a quartet made up of Nor’easters and Down-easters, will perform. Chantz, a women’s quartet from Gardiner, will entertain as well.

Spare Parts quartet made up of various Nor’easters will sing. Since they never really know who’s available and have several talented barber shop singers who come together for special events, they’re called the Spare Parts.

Senior Moments, the division quartet champions, will sing.

The show will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 132 McKeen St. It will feature more than $500 in door prizes and refreshments afterward in the parish hall.

Tickets may be purchased from St. Charles and St. John’s Parish offices as well as at the door. Ticket are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 62 and over, and $5 for students. People can contact Jerry Purinton, 729-3235, or Larry Larochelle, 729-0200.
