I’m going to tell you how to live your life. I’m going to tell you what to wear. I will tell you where you can go, and where you cannot. I’ll tell you who to vote for. You want to work where? Not going to happen. You want to be friends with who? Not if I say so. You want a new pair of shoes? That’s OK, if I give you that choice.

Are you starting to get my point? Banning abortion means banning a choice. Isn’t the concept of choice one of the fundamental building blocks of our country? Abortion isn’t a God thing, it isn’t a Democrat or Republican thing, it’s a thing called choice. Whether you are pro-choice, pro-life or even undecided, folks must agree that choice is a huge factor, if not the determining factor.

Women finally got the right to vote only within the last century; women average almost 26 cents less an hour than men. There has never been a woman president or vice president, nor has a woman ever walked on the moon.

Thus, a woman being anti-abortion is willing to give up another right, another choice. A man being anti-abortion is just going back to that cruel, demeaning, control-freak male that unfortunately ruled the world way back when.

I’m very proud to be pro-choice. I am pro-choice because I believe that women deserve – and have earned – every choice they could possibly have.
