LEWISTON – Judging for this year’s 13th Great Falls Balloon Festival Photo Contest was recently completed.

Out of 140 photo entries, 10 people will receive awards.

Winners are as follows:

Age 18 and under category: first, Laura Look, Mechanic Falls; second, Woody Mawhinney, Auburn; third, Nick Riebeshehl, Waquoit, Mass.

Adult category: first, Diane Mawhinney, Auburn; second, Scott Record, Lewiston; third, Sharon Albiston, Auburn; honorable mention, Jennifer Weeman, Steep Falls, Heather Stiffel and Susan Grant, Lewiston; best of show, Lori Robert, Greene.

A special reception and awards ceremony will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at St. Mary’s women’s center pavilion, main lobby entrance on Sabattus Street.

All of the photos entered in the contest may be viewed at the reception.
