RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert J. Miller was celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, at St. Athanasius and St. John Church in Rumford with the Rev. Angelo LeVasseur as the celebrant. Readings were done by Roger Miller and Bob Bulger. Pallbearers were Victor Fergola, Greg and Ed Bulger, Dan and Corey Miller, and Frank DiConzo. Eulogy was given by Ian Miller and a poem was read by Roger Miller. Committal services were conducted by Deacon Rod Berger. Interment was in St. John Cemetery in Rumford. Providing military honors from the Maine National Guard of Bangor were Mark D. Andrews, senior master sergeant, Michael P. Gleason, senior master sergeant (retired), U.S. Air Force, Richard J. Johnson, senior master sergeant (retired), U.S. Air Force, Jeffrey S. Patterson, technical sergeant, Maine Air National Guard, and Mel Tukey, private first class (retired), U.S. Army.
