Considering the 10 million-15 million illegal aliens bankrupting schools and hospitals in our Southwest, considering the assault on property rights via the Supreme Court’s expansion of eminent domain in direct violation of our Constitution, considering the damage NAFTA and CAFTA are doing to our economy, and considering the Texan who just lost his ranch through the courts to trespassing illegal aliens, can anyone in his or her right mind refuse to admit that our government has turned against the rights of U.S. citizens and toward an increasingly totalitarian state?

I believe conservatives are looking for another American revolution – a peaceful one – by holding Congress’ feet to the fire of the Constitution. Who will provide leadership? Certainly not the Republicans or the Democrats, two talking heads on the same corrupt, pro-globalist body.

I submit that exceptional leadership is already being provided by the John Birch Society, which, for nearly 50 years, has warned about our nation’s impending socialism. Eight years ago, “insiders” almost talked us into a constitutional convention to meddle with our founding document. The JBS sent Don Fotheringham to all 50 states to explain why this was a danger to our liberties and sovereignty, thus saving our freedoms for another eight years.

Freedom is worth fighting for, but isn’t it more worth the effort in an effective way? If we sincerely want to save America as the “land of the free,” we should become educated about the JBS soon – and join before it’s too late.
