This is in response to letter writers in the past who have questioned my faith. My Christian view is based on faith in the truth found in the Bible, just as our Founding Fathers did when they designed our Constitution and the rules that were to be used to govern this country.

Those rules are based on love for mankind and the equality of all people. Except for some lapses along the way, those beliefs and rules have been working for almost 200 years.

Now, some people have decided they do not want to obey God or live according to the proven principles. They fought to remove God from schools, the government, the courts and life in general.

It is with faith that I believe the Bible. It was my choice. If others choose to not believe, that is their God-given ability to choose. It is their choice.

Others choose to believe that I am narrow-minded. Many have chosen to think that man is smarter or greater than God. That, too, is their choice, but it is not my choice.
